Humanitarian Studio Khvylia (Wave) was established on December 10, 1996.
The main goals are:
- Facilitate the development of civil society in Ukraine through human rights promotion;
- Education in the spirit of tolerance and respect for human rights;
- Multicultural development.
The areas of expertise are:
- Propagating human rights values through cultural events such as festivals, concerts, performances, etc.;
- Holding festivals and public events;
- Researching human rights, humanitarian and cultural issues;
- Developing advocacy campaigns.
HS Khvylia was supported by the Embassies of Netherlands, German, Poland, Canada, USA, Israel, International Renaissance Foundation and many other foundations and private donors.
